Frequently Asked Questions
How do I reset my password?
Use the "Forgot Password" link on the login screen. You'll receive an email with instructions to reset your password. If you don't receive the email, check your spam folder or contact us at support@srits.website.
How secure is my data in E-Z Groups?
Very secure! We use:
- AWS Cognito for secure authentication
- End-to-end encryption (TLS/SSL for data in transit)
- Role-based access controls
- Owner-based data authorization
- Regular security updates

Can I import members from Excel?
Yes! E-Z Groups supports bulk import of members via Excel files. You can import member information including names, emails, and group assignments.
How do grading types work?
E-Z Groups supports multiple grading types:
- Numeric: Grade with numbers (e.g., 0-100 or 0-10)
- Letter: Grade with letters (A+, A, B+, B, etc.) with customizable point values
- Pass/Fail: Simple pass or fail marking
- No Grade: Task completion tracking without grading
What is criteria-based assessment?
Criteria-based assessment allows you to:
- Define categories (e.g., "Theory", "Practical Skills")
- Add criteria within each category
- Assign weights to categories and criteria
- Grade each criterion individually
- Automatically calculate weighted total scores
Can multiple examiners grade the same task?
Yes! You can configure tasks to allow multiple examiners. Each examiner's grade is recorded separately, and you can view all grades for comparison or averaging.
Account Deletion
You have the right to request deletion of your E-Z Groups account and associated data at any time.
How to Request Account Deletion
To request deletion of your account, please send an email to:
Please include the following information in your request:
- The email address associated with your Eazy Groups account
- Your full name as registered in the app
- Reason for deletion (optional)
What Happens When You Delete Your Account
Important Notice
Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. Please make sure you want to proceed before submitting your request.
Upon receiving and verifying your deletion request:
- Your account will be permanently deleted within 30 days
- All personal information (name, email) will be removed
- Your group memberships and supervisor assignments will be removed
- Your task submissions and grades will be anonymized or deleted
- You will no longer be able to access the application
Data Retention
Some data may be retained for legitimate purposes:
- Anonymized Data: Aggregate statistics may be retained for analytics
- Backup Data: Automatically purged within 90 days
- Legal Requirements: Records required for legal compliance may be retained as required by law
